The intent of this text is to give a Biblical view of those amazing creatures of God that we call angels. In recent years there has been a great surge of interest in the world of angels. Many major universities have begun classes on the subject. Angels are very interesting to say the least but I am afraid that the modern concept of angels is quite foreign to the Biblical account of angels. There has also been a promotion of angels in and t hrough the New Age religion in the recent past. They attempt to use the idea angels to work as a self-help tool. The New Age religion tries to help you get in touch with the angel inside of you to better understand yourself. It is my fear that many Christian people are beginning to fall for this angel hysteria which is not a Biblical view of angels. This may seem trivial to some, but when Christians accept a non-Biblical view of a Biblical subject, they are in danger of being taken in by more serious false doctrines. It is my hope that the readers of this text will finish with a better understanding of angels. Angels are spiritual creatures of God, which are willing at His call to do His will no matter what His will would be. This text will hopefully give the readers a greater understanding of how God uses His angels and therefore have more confidence in their daily walk of life.
